前言:
紐約是世界上一個最繁忙的商業城市,旅客眾多,酒店林立,而從事酒店行業的華裔員工也為數不少,尤其是來自中國、香港、台灣地區(及東南亞華僑)的員工佔大部份,他們都是對酒店有貢獻的一群,但是因為語言的隔閡,文化的差異,成為酒店業中的少數民族,更由於風俗習慣不同而往往導致事件的轉化,使自己遇到麻煩。
任務:
我們成立酒店華裔協會目的及使命是幫助所有酒店華裔員工能成功地爭取到一個平等待遇的工作環境,藉此提供一個交流及職業培訓平台,我們全力協調、配合酒店管理當局與酒店工會去支持及完成協會為會員所訂出的規劃,我們將用本協會發出的聲音不斷地發展會員並聯合全體會員的力量,增強我們酒店華裔協會在主流社會中的影響力,為社會作出貢獻。
規劃 :
美國酒店華裔協會為所有會員提供服務包括:
(1) 促進友誼 ,加強交流,解決員工語言上的翻譯工作。
(2) 協調各員工與所屬酒店或工會之間關係。
(3) 增進了解及剖析中華文化與本土文化差異所帶來的影響。
(4) 提供文化娛樂活動,積極參加公益。
(5) 提供工作平台,讓會員互相提供工作機會資訊。
(6) 對於任何傷害或歧視華裔員工的不法行為,本會對會員作出支援、交涉。
(7) 舉辦講座,闡述有關法例(酒店,工會所訂立)提供會員有關工作上的條例或違規事項咨詢。
(8) 代表本協會跟其它所屬團體作協商及交流,並提供各項社區服務。
組織及機構:
(1)董事會是本會最高權力決策機構
(2)董事會下設(正、副)理事各一名
(3)正副理事下設常務幹事乙名
總務幹事、財務幹事、秘書幹事、公關幹事、培訓幹事、康樂幹事
權利與義務:
本會性質為美國聯邦政府認可的(501(C)(3)非牟利機構,但極願意接受社會各界善長人翁及各會員個人的樂意捐助,根据(501(C)(3)法例規定,對各捐助團體與個人,將給予退稅文件,本會大力鼓勵會員介紹新酒店員工入會,以發揚會務為己任,增強本會在主流社會的號召力。
服務對象 :
凡在美國從事酒店業的華裔員工(包括管理階層與非工會酒店,Motel & Inn,等)不分地區,不分工作部門職位,不分男女,凡願遵守本會所訂章程規則者均可參加成為會員。

Regulation
Introduction :
New York is the most prosperous business city in the world. There are lots of tourists and hotels, many Chinese American from China, Hong Kong, Taiwan and South East Asia are working in the hotel in New York. They are a substantial portion of the hotel workforce. Because of language and cultural barriers many of them need support and professional development.
Our Mission :
The Hotel Chinese Association of USA, Inc, was established to provide assistance and support for Chinese American hotel employees. We aim to advocate for equal rights at the workplace; to provide a platform for dialogue and professional training that supports advancement on the job; and to engage in community service. We will provide mutual support, friendship, and opportunities for professional development. We will work with hotel management, hotel union and community organizations to support our members and our Program.
We will unite the voice of the Chinese American hotel employees to build a stronger representation of our community in the mainstream society.
Program :
The Hotel Chinese Association of USA, Inc.
Will provide the following activities and service :
1) Encourage friendship and enhance communication to provide mutual support for the members.
2) Coordinate the promote good working relationship between each worker and each hotel or union.
3) Promote Chinese culture and heritage.
4) Provide culture entertainment activity. (Join Chinese New Year’s in every year in Chinatown)
5) Provide job opportunity information for each member.
6) Advocate on behalf of our members against any harm, discrimination or unfair treatment.
7) Provide information and educate members on the hotel’s and union’s regulations, and employment regulations.
8) Promote and Provide opportunities for community service.
Organization:
1) The Board of Directors has the high right to make policy in our association.
2) Under the Board of Directors, set up Board Chairman and Vice Board Chairman
3) Under Board Chairman and Vice Board Chairman, set up officers for General Affairs, Financial Affairs, Secretary engages, Entertainment Secretary, Members Relations Secretary and Publicist Secretary
Rights and Duty :
Our association is a non-profit organization. But we will accept every member’s personal donation.
We encourage existing members to introduce new members to enroll in our association.
Participants :
The Chinese workers who work for hotels in any work department or position in any area in United States of America (including management and non-union hotels, Motel & Inn) , must follow our association’s regulation, they can join us and become members.
We encourage any Chinese American that are employees of hotels, motels and inns to participate in the activities and program of the association. We welcome donations to support the work of the association.
